I've had a few ideas about how I want the latest version of emmajane.net to work. Here's the latest plan of attack:
- install CVS for the .html files (like head.html and foot.html)—this will allow me to track versions of the site's interface
- write a little script that will allow me to write an entry and update the site all in one step—really it shouldn't be that hard to do this
- I've already tweaked Blosxom into letting me have all entries on the category pages. I'm also allowing One Entry Per Page archives, but I'm not sure how to link to them yet. That will be the next step: replace category pages with indexes of entries. First I need more content for this to make sense though. Perhaps add a variable to handle how many entries are required for a category page to switch from All Entries Displayed to Archive Index.
Currently listening to: The lovely Nina Simone's Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues. It's on a Starbucks disc of Nina Simone tunes that I picked up this weekend when Graig and I were in Barrie.
