Zero Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy

Please note that owing to the large volume of mail arriving at this
desk, we may not be able to actually respond to your email or disclose
action taken againt the spammer. However, please be assured that we
have a zero tolerance anti-spam policy, and take a very dim view of spam
and net abuse involving an <Insert ISP's name> account.

Let me get this straight...if you have a zero tolerance anti-spam policy, does that mean you're actually in favour of spam? I've never been very good with the double negatives.

This is now I read the above email from the postmaster: blah blah "auto responder" blah blah "may not get a personal response" blah blah "our policy is in favour of spam because we are very dumb/dim" blah blah "abuse" blah blah. I really must learn how to /read/ the emails that show up in my inbox.

Dear Postmaster:
I thought you might want to know that the term "dim" is also used to mean stupid...you may want to consider using a different term for your view of spam. http://m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=dim-witted
